Red Velvet Protein Pancakes

Have you ever had red velvet pancakes!? This unique recipe is a baker's dream and it's so simple. Wait there's more, that red velvety color comes from all-natural beets! No food coloring here. This recipe makes 15 medium-sized pancakes the macronutrients and serving size are for 4 pancakes. You can top those pancakes with some natural honey or fresh fruit.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 Cup Roasted Beets
  • 2/3 Cup Milk Substitute
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Tbs Avocado Oil
  • 1/3 Cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Scoops Chocolate Transformation Protein
  • 1 Tsp Baking powder
  • Pinch Salt
STEP BY STEP

Add beets, milk alternative and egg to blender. Blend until beets are smooth.

Add remaining wet ingredients and blend.

Add dry ingredients and blend.

Heat griddle to low medium (this keeps them bright pink!) pour batter and flip when edges are dry and set.
