Collagen Protein Waffles

Collagen Protein Waffles are a great way to start the day off beautifully! They fill you up and give you the energy to last the entire day! This recipe has ZERO carbohydrates which are perfect if you're on Keto! Make sure to use zero-calorie syrup too to keep those carbohydrates low. This recipe makes about 2 delicious waffles, which is 1 serving.

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 Scoop Collagen
  • 2 egg whites or 2 Tb 100% Liquid Egg Whites
  • 3 1/2 Tb to 4 TB water
  • 1/4 ts Baking Powder
  • 1 Tb Challenge Whipped Butter
  • Non-stick spray (coconut or oil)
  • Walden Farms Syrup (fat free, sugar free, calorie free)
  • Optional Sliced Banana and chopped Walnuts
STEP BY STEP

In a small bowl, add 2 scoops Collagen

Add 1/4 Tbsp baking powder to help it rise.

Separate yokes from two eggs, and add the egg whites.

Slowly add 3 1/2 to 4 Tb water to thin the batter, and whisk well.

Heat the waffle maker.

Generously apply non-stick spray to waffle maker.

Pour the batter into waffle maker.

Be careful not add too much water or the batter will overflow the waffle maker.

Cook until maker notifies you of completeness.

When complete, add syrup and (healthy butter) (bananas and chopped walnuts)
